Johnny Speeds announced the addition of Jonatan "bobeksde" Persson to their roster, replacing Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson. This announcement follows Lekr0's departure to join the BC.Game team. William "draken" Sundin will now take on the role of team captain, previously led by Lekr0.
He is already familiar to Johnny Speeds fans, having filled in for various team members since April. His contribution has been significant in the team's recent successes, including victories at the Svenska Eliteserien Spring 2024 final and in the European Pro League Season 18: Division 2. Additionally, bobeksde has extensive experience playing in GODSENT alongside current Johnny Speeds members such as Kalle "Ro1f" Johansson and Olle "spooke" Grundström.

Johnny Speeds has won almost every tournament they have participated in. They are currently ranked 28th in the Valve rankings for Europe, which means they will certainly receive at least a closed qualifier invitation for the RMR.
