The BLEED team found themselves in an unpleasant situation as they were unable to register on time for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European Open Qualifier 3, consequently losing the chance to compete for a spot in the closed qualifiers.
Due to the large number of registered teams, BLEED ended up 89th on the waiting list, which deprived them of the opportunity to participate in this round of qualification. It is important to note that the team registered on time but just did not make it into the first 1024 teams.
This incident was a real disaster for BLEED, as the team now has only one chance to qualify for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European Qualifier. BLEED is currently focused on preparing for the next opportunity to qualify, but missing this stage significantly complicates their path to success.
Team coach Alexander "kassad" Trifunovic reacted to this situation:
While we were at the hospital with Launx, one of our players didn’t check in on time and we were on waiting list and didnt make it to bracket.Sad, but it was what happened. I also dont understand how open qualifiers have limit on the number of teams signing up? Would love to hear the answer to this.
Yesterday, BLEED player Laurențiu "lauNX" Tarlea felt unwell and was admitted to the hospital.
