BLAST Open Spring 2025 has started in Lisbon and Copenhagen, where the 16 best teams are competing for a $400,000 prize pool and the opportunity to gain important ranking points. On the first day of play, four matches took place in Group A, where the teams competed for the next stage.

Spirit 2-0 The Huns

Spirit confidently dealt with The Huns, thanks to the powerful play of the donk, who continues to prove that he is one of the best individual players on the scene. His 48 frags and incredible 122 average damage per round were the main factors in his team's victory.

 
 

Despite the defeat, nin9 produced some brilliant moments, including 4 one-tap kills with Deagle in the match against Spirit. He became the main driver of The Huns, but even that was not enough to turn the game around.

MOUZ started the tournament confidently, defeating Team Falcons on two tense maps. Spinx proved to be a real leader, scoring 33 frags and demonstrating a stable clutch game.

On the Falcons' side, TeSeS tried to save their team, but MOUZ was stronger in the crucial moments.

Next match: MOUZ will play Spirit in the upper semifinals of the group, and Falcons will meet The Huns in the lower round.

Vitality left no chance for Astralis, defeating the opponent with a total score of 26-10. mezii and ZywOo were the key factors in this victory, demonstrating excellent shooting and teamwork.

On the Astralis side, Staehr was the best player, but his 21 frags could not save the team from complete failure.

The most intense match of the day ended with a dramatic victory for Virtus.pro. After losing on the first map, the team managed to snatch a victory on Ancient and then destroyed FaZe 13-0 on Dust2.

FL1T and electroNic were the key figures in this victory, with FL4MUS scoring 62 frags in three maps. In FaZe, frozen tried to support the team, but it was not enough.

Next match: Virtus.pro will play Vitality in the semifinals of the top bracket, while FaZe will go to the bottom of the standings.
