A scandal in CS2 erupted after the organizers of BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 announced on May 21, 2025 that the Argentine team BESTIA was excluded from the tournament due to problems with obtaining American visas. Their place was taken by the Brazilian team Legacy, which took second place in the South American qualifier.
They didn't give us a deadline, they waited for 9pandas until 5 days before the event, I publicly commit, as I already did privately, that on Monday my team will have all its documentation to playPapo MC
Fans supported his outrage. User ANSOX called BLAST's actions a disgrace: “it can't be that they organize a tournament and are not able to provide the visas F*****S.”
Pedro "9xNium" Gomez added: "YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THE CS COMMUNITY."
BunnyAzul1 accused the organizers of creating obstacles: "You're screwing over a team that deserves it and has been moving heaven and earth for days to get the visas. Now that they have the visas for Monday, you're the ones creating obstacles. It's unbelievable #ArgentinaAlMundial."
User augustodoldan called for changes: "Esports is still figuring out its professional game, legally and socially, as a sport. And pulling this kind of stuff doesn't set a good example."

Organizations actively supported BESTIA. Many organizations expressed their support in solidarity: "This is not fair to BESTIA, they deserve their spot! #ArgentinaAlMundial".
Teams such as: M80, Aurora, Falcons, 9Z, BIG, Metizport, GamerLegion, Imperial, paiN, HEROIC, ODDIK, and many others expressed their support by posting the hashtag - #ArgentinaAlMundial
Visa problems for teams from Latin America are systemic, as noted by the . Similar problems have previously arisen for teams such as paiN Gaming and MIBR, which also struggled with bureaucracy to participate in American tournaments.
The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, which will take place from June 3 to 22 in Austin, Texas, was supposed to be a historic event for BESTIA. The team included young talents such as tomaszin, luchov, cass1n, and timo. The tournament brought together 32 teams, including NRG, FURIA, Team Liquid, Complexity, G2 Esports, Natus Vincere, and FaZe Clan, with a prize pool of $1,250,000. For BESTIA, it was a chance to make a name for itself on the international stage.
At the time of publication, BLAST did not respond to the pressure. The CS2 community, including fans, players and organizations, continues to demand justice under the hashtag #ArgentinaAlMundial. If the organizers do not make concessions, it could seriously affect their reputation. BESTIA risks losing a historic chance, which only adds to the tension.
