BIG has officially announced a new lineup, it includes prosus, s1n, and mantuu

Today, the German organization BIG announced their updated lineup, which will focus on CS2 as soon as it becomes generally available.

According to the organization, the most important thing for them was to create a team and organization that represents the German scene and promotes the scene by developing talent and building the cybersports community in Germany.

The updated roster includes two players from the team's academic roster, namely Elias "s1n" Stein and David "prosus" Hesse. This is how the organization announced them:

Next, the team announced the arrival of a foreign player in the form of Pole Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski, who, according to insiders, the German organization bought from OG for a not small amount.

And toward the end, the team said goodbye to its former riffler Nils "k1to" Grünen. The organization stated that k1to is on the market for a transfer and is awaiting offers from other teams.

The head of the esports Department, Roman "Roman R." Reinhardt, also had his say. Reinhardt:

With the integration of prosus and s1n into our core team, we are counting on two outstanding German talents from our academic team. It has been our plan from the beginning to prepare them as much as possible for this moment. We have invested years in their education and worked closely with them and their families based on our vision. Now it's time to "let them off the leash" and give them a chance to prove themselves. With the team, we continue to implement the philosophy and core vision of our founder, Yilmaz Ozan. With mantuu we have the perfect complement. He knows the German scene, has already won at ESL Meisterschaft and fits perfectly into BIG with his style and character. With this lineup we will continue our goal of building a team that represents the scene and that our fans can be proud of.

The BIG lineup now looks as follows:

  • Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz
  • Karim "Krimbo" Moussa
  • David "prosus" Hesse
  • Elias "s1n" Stein
  • Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski
  • Fatih "gob b" Dayik (coach)

Recall that earlier it was reported that now the sixth player in the lineup Joseph "faveN" Baumann announced his brief absence from the pro scene due to the birth of his child.

Meanwhile, another main roster player, Marcel "hyped" Köhn, went to share his experience at BIG Academy. But the team is still one player short of a full roster.
