German club BIG made it to the final of the first European qualification for Thunderpick World Championship 2023, thus guaranteeing themselves passage to the championship itself. The team defeated French mix Looking4Org 2-0 in the battle for the slot.

Despite the fact that the French lost, both maps (Ancient and Inferno) ended with the closest possible score of 16:14. The best player was Karim "Krimbo" Moussa with 45 frags, 13 multi-kills and a rating of 6.6.

The fate of the second slot at Thunderpick WC 2023 in the other semifinal with MOUZ and Eternal Fire - their match starts at 20:00. The final will be held on August 13 at 17:00, the loser will get $5k, and the winners will get all $20k.

Recall that the second European qualification will be held from September 4 to 18, and the start of the main stage of the tournament with a prize of $500,000 is scheduled for October 27.
