Team ATOX earned the second slot for their region at the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Asia-Pacific RMR following a successful run in the qualifiers. The team had to fight for their place in the LAN tournament through the lower bracket.
In the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: East Asian Qualifier, ATOX defeated Fort Arena and GR, but lost the upper bracket final match to TheMongolZ, who secured the first slot for their subregion. However, ATOX didn't give up and triumphed in the lower bracket, beating The Huns with a score of 2:0.
For ATOX, this is a significant moment as it will be their first time playing at such a high level like PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Asia-Pacific RMR. Compared to other participants, their chances might be smaller, but this ambitious team could bring surprises to the tournament.
PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Asia-Pacific RMR will take place in Shanghai from February 26 to 28, and so far, five of the eight participants are known:
