Today, it was announced on the Twitter account of the organization Astralis that the greatest clutch master will remain with the organization and pass on his experience to the young players from Astralis Talent.
In continuation of the first team coaches' desire to work with @Altekzzz in the coming period, he and @Xyp9x will be switching roles in the upcoming matches.

The players themselves have also commented on the changes in the lineup.
I am still super disappointed that we missed the qualification for the Major. That was my goal and everyone's ambition. An organization like Astralis must participate in all Majors and ultimately be able to compete for the title. When we miss this opportunity for the second time in a row, it's clear we have to look at all options. I know the game and know how I contribute, but I'm also Astralis to the core and will do what it takes to move us forward.
People close to me know that I am a team player, and even though I am now taking a break from the A team, I will always be ready to help the organization and the team that I have been a part of since the very beginning. There are many talented players on the talent team, and I look forward to helping them. I hope, of course, that my experience and knowledge from countless large international tournaments can lift the players even.
The newcomer from Astralis Talents commented on these changes as follows:
I am super happy to be part of the talent team at Astralis and the culture we have built. We always work for each other to get better every day so that we can one day compete on the highest level. That's why, when "casle" told me they wanted to work with me on the first team. I was just all smiles and excitement, and I intend to give my everything to help the team. I haven't been made any promises, so for me it's just about showing what I can do and who I am as a person and as a player.
I know there will be a lot of speculation, but for me, it's about Astralis and about being a team player so that we can lift the results together.
As a result of the reshuffle in the organization, the main team lineup now looks as follows:
Astralis Talents lineup now looks like this:
Andreas Xyp9x Højslet joined the team back in January 2016, and in total, the Dane has spent 2517 days with the team! During this time, Xyp9x and company were able to win four Majors, establish their own style of play, and much more.
Some of the most significant trophies that the Dane has lifted were, of course, the victories in 4 Majors, of which 3 were won in a row:
- ELEAGUE Major Atlanta 2017
- FACEIT Major: London 2018
- Intel Extreme Masters XIII - Katowice Major 2019
- StarLadder Berlin Major 2019
Andreas Xyp9x Højsleth, together with Astralis, was able to win a considerable number of other trophies, but it would take hours to list them all. However, it is 100% worth mentioning that the team won 2 Intel Grand Slam prizes.
At the end of his participation, Xyp9x leaves the team with a total of 370 played maps and an average rating of 5.6!
The first match for the Dane in the new lineup will take place tomorrow. He will play against Prospects team in the European Pro League Season 7.
