The CS community has been in an uproar following PGL's decision to disinvite 15 Average Gaming from the Asia RMR due to roster issues. Despite an attempt to update their lineup post Open Qualifiers, PGL rejected the changes, citing rules against post-registration edits.
Misalignment between PGL's public timeline and 15 Average's records added fuel to the fire, with 15 Average providing evidence of earlier communications regarding the roster and visa issues faced by player Qweall.

We spoke with the team about the reason and more and here's the incident explained 👇https://t.co/z3wnekkqJJ
As the team flew to the RMR in China, they were pressured by PGL for immediate proof of Qweall's travel status, a request difficult to fulfill due to in-flight restrictions. The team's failure to provide prompt evidence resulted in their invitation being withdrawn, despite historical precedence for last-minute stand-ins at major events.
Ultimately, 15 Average's spot was filled by Twisted Minds, who were subsequently eliminated early in the tournament. This incident has sparked debate on the flexibility of tournament rules and the treatment of teams facing unforeseen challenges.
