FURIA officially reinstated Andrei "arT" Piovezan as captain, a position previously held by legendary sniper Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo. This decision came after FURIA's unsuccessful results with FalleN as IGL.

The role change was confirmed following the Pari Please 2023 tournament, which concluded on November 20, where FURIA finished in 3-4th place, losing in the semifinals to team 9 Pandas. arT, who previously led the team as captain, returns to this role, known for its hyper-aggressive style of play typical of Brazilian Counter-Strike.

In his first match after returning as IGL, arT led FURIA to an impressive victory over one of the top five teams in the world, Complexity, at Elisa Masters Espoo 2023. The captain himself demonstrated excellent play, earning a 7.6 rating and being named the best player of the match.

FURIA is currently playing against Apeks in a match for a spot in the playoffs of Elisa Masters Espoo 2023, a tournament that attracts attention not only because of its significant prize pool of $200,000 but also due to the participation of three top 10 ESL ranked teams: MOUZ, ENCE, and Complexity. A total of eight teams are participating in the tournament, divided into two groups. After the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.
