On the night of December 15th to 16th, the first day of the LAN championship ESL Challenger at DreamHack Atlanta 2023 took place. This means it's time to take a look at the intermediate results of the championship's group stage.
It's worth noting right away that the championship's prize pool is $100,000, but the most important prize is a direct invite to ESL Pro League S19, which the championship winner will claim.
A total of 7 matches were played yesterday, and after their conclusion, the group stage took shape as follows:
Please note that Apeks and Virtus.pro have already secured their places in the championship's semi-finals, as both teams have two wins in the group stage.
First, Apeks defeated TheMongolz on Anubis with a score of 13:6. Later, they also won against GamerLegion on Mirage with a score of 13:11.

There are, of course, sadder stories. For example, the GamerLegion team has already been eliminated from the championship, finishing in 7th-8th place and earning $2,000 for the team. First, they lost to Apeks on Mirage with a score of 11:13. After that, they lost to Complexity Gaming with a score of 1:2 (Vertigo 3:13, Nuke 13:11, Overpass 2:13) in terms of maps.
The BESTIA, M80, and Monte teams are on the brink of elimination from the championship. Currently, BESTIA and M80 have zero wins and only one loss, while Monte has one win and one loss.
