Apeks have advanced to the finals of ESL Challenger Atlanta 2023

Today, the Norwegian organization Apeks advanced to the final of ESL Challenger at DreamHack Atlanta 2023. In their latest match, Apeks defeated team Monte.

Apeks overcame their opponents with a score of 2:1 (Mirage 19:16, Anubis 11:13, Ancient 13:10) on maps. However, the most interesting part was indeed the third map of the confrontation.

Initially, the teams simply exchanged map picks. However, the third map saw complete chaos unfold.

Monte started the game on Ancient on the defense side, which is dominant on this map. They took 6 rounds in a row. After that, Apeks miraculously managed to win 1 round, making the score 6:1.

Monte didn't stop there and won another 3 rounds in a row, but then lost 2 more rounds. The first half ended with a score of 9:3. And then the strongest comeback from Apeks began.

Ultimately, Apeks consecutively won 10 rounds and eventually won the map with a score of 13:10.
