Esports organization Apeks announced the return of Martin "STYKO" Styk to the active Counter-Strike 2 roster. The Slovakian player rejoins the team, filling the void created after Damian "kyxsan" Stojilkovski's move to Heroic. STYKO will remain with the team until the end of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.
STYKO joined Apeks at the beginning of 2022, playing over 400 maps before being replaced by Edne "sense" Fredriksen in October. Despite his contract expiring at the end of 2023, the organization decided to extend cooperation with the Slovakian shooter to strengthen their positions for the upcoming major.

STYKO was part of the Apeks team that reached the semifinals of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. After this success, the team lost several players, including Justinas "jL" Lekavicius, who moved to Natus Vincere, and "kyxsan", now playing for Heroic. Now, with the return of STYKO, Apeks reunites the core of its Paris major roster and will receive a direct invitation to the PGL Major Copenhagen Europe RMR.
"I am very excited to return to Apeks. The major is our number one goal for the upcoming season, and I am determined to do everything possible to achieve our goal - to make it to the first Major in CS2."
The current lineup of Apeks is as follows:
