In Counter-Strike 2, the prices of in-game items continue to decline. At the time of publication, the cost of skins has fallen by 50% compared to the peak value recorded at the announcement of Valve's updated shooter. The data was provided by the Pricempire portal.

The portal's representatives provided statistics that consider the price dynamics of the “top-300” skins for weapons in CS2. Currently, their cost has dropped to below $24,000, whereas in March 2023 it exceeded $40,000. The reasons for such market fluctuations have not been explained by analysts.

Earlier, a Chinese fan of the shooter from Valve presented his created skin StatTrak "M4A1-S | Information Flow". The cost of this skin was valued at over $300,000. Some traders called this M4A1-S skin the most expensive in the history of the game.
