Today marked the start of the first and last open qualification for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 for the Chinese region. Due to slightly different laws in China, Chinese players are fortunate as they will not be playing on Challengermode.

From the first open qualification of the Chinese region, only four teams will advance to the closed part. This is just 20 people out of 16 thousand registered.

A total of four teams from the open qualification for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Chinese Qualifier will advance, where they will join:

• Lynn Vision Gaming
• TYLOO
• NewHappy
• Wings Up Gaming

A total of 3186 teams registered for the open qualification. This is an absolute record in the history of Counter-Strike! For comparison, 1260 teams registered for the first European qualification, and 286 teams for the first American one.

After PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Chinese Qualifier, two teams will advance to PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Asia-Pacific RMR.

The open qualification will last two days, and the start of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Chinese Qualifier is scheduled for February 19th.
