AMD Removed Driver Causing Players to Receive VAC Bans

Today, it was revealed that AMD has removed its latest driver, AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.10.1, from the official site, and it's now unavailable for download.

This driver had previously introduced a new feature into the game called "Anti-Lag/+" that caused all the difficulties.

First, this change was found by HXL, who posted the message on Twitter:

Note that earlier, Valve developers stated on Twitter that if players use the "Anti-Lag/+" feature, their accounts will be banned by VAC, as any interference in the game process is prohibited.

But the developers also assured that all VAC bans would be lifted with the first update from AMD. The update is already here — the driver has been removed. This means that a wave of unbanning will happen very soon.
