The Counter-Strike Twitter account has posted a message stating that after a recent AMD driver update, some users may receive a VAC ban for using the Anti-Lag/+ feature.

This is due to the method by which both Anti-Lag features work, which Valve explains as engine dll bypass functions, this feature disables Valve's Anti-Cheat measures, resulting in a VAC ban.
To check this feature, go to the Gaming tab, where you can see whether Radeon Anti-Lag is enabled or disabled on the left side of the screen in the Graphics section. The developers have promised that after the next AMD update, they will track down all unfairly banned users and cancel their bans.
