Found a new way for Counter-Strike 2 that should make the game sharper and smoother

Today, the well-known English-speaking data miner Thour shared on his Twitter how to make Counter-Strike 2 even smoother. He also noted that this trick is already being used by FaZe Clan rifler Robin ropz Kool.

The trick is that in CS2, you can increase the throughput above 786432. This value is the default for everyone, but it needs to be adjusted for oneself using a specific formula.

Thour claims that in Counter-Strike 2, you can set the rate value to 1000000. But what exactly is this rate?

It's the minimum amount of bytes per second that the host can receive data. In the settings of CS2, the maximum value is 786432, however, you can manually set the rate to 1000000 through the console.

If you set the rate to 1000000, you will accordingly increase the amount of data sent by 27.15%. Thour claims that the only professional player who uses this function is Robin ropz Kool.

A higher rate level provides a more stable and consistent connection, helping to avoid jitters, delays, and frame drops during gameplay.

You can calculate your rate using this simple formula:

Rate = Internet Connection Speed x 13107.2

To set the rate to 1000000, an internet connection speed of about 76.29 Mbps is required. If your speed is higher than this mark, you can safely set your rate to 1000000.
