Today, the organizers of the BetBoom Dacha championship announced on their social networks that the Polish organization 9INE will replace Fnatic in the closed qualifiers for the championship. This change is due to the fact that Fnatic currently has only three players on their roster.
9INE will replace Fnatic in Group B of the closed qualifiers for BetBoom Dacha. The reason for this is that two players left the Fnatic team:
Also playing in Group B are: Ninjas in Pyjamas, MIBR, and Team Spirit. Moreover, Group A has already finished their performances. The teams that have advanced from Group A to the playoffs of the closed qualifiers are: Aurora, BIG, and Apeks.
Fnatic's first opponent would have been Team Spirit, with the match scheduled for tomorrow at 15:00 Kyiv time. Here is how Fnatic themselves commented on this event:
"As we continue to focus on rebuilding our lineup for 2024, we have informed the tournament organizers that we will not be participating. Our priorities are fully focused on investing in a new lineup that will help return the former glory to the FNATIC CS team in 2024. We deeply apologize to FISSURE and our fans for the inconvenience."
The start of the main stage of the tournament is scheduled for November 11, 2023, which is when the Online stage will begin, with 8 teams already having received invitations. The teams will compete for two slots at the LAN stage. The Online stage will end on November 21.
After which, from December 5 to 10, 2023, the LAN stage will be played. Six teams have already received invitations to the stage, and they will be joined by two more from the Online stage.
