2023 is about to start on the pro scene in CS:GO with the start of BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023. Many young players will get their chance to shine. So we created a list of the top 10 young esports athletes who will become new stars this year.
Daniil headtr1ck Valitov, 18 years old
The former player of NAVI Junior has every chance to get a foothold on the tier-1 professional scene as a sniper of Ninjas in Pajamas. The Swedish organization also has its own youth staff. Still, Daniil just attracted the management's attention, being a foreign academy graduate, so there is something in him.
Headtr1ck had a little experience playing against the best teams in the world when he replaced s1mple in one of the tournaments of the BLAST series. However, at the last WePlay Academy League, he became the best player with a rating of 7.2.
Danya is one of the best NAVI Junior players. He deserves the opportunity to perform at the tier-1 level.
For more than 2 years at NAVI, he has shown to be a true professional and master of his craft. Daniil's playing skills and human qualities make him an ideal candidate for any top team.
Jimi Jimpphat Salo, 16 years old
Sergej's younger brother has already started his journey on the pro scene, participating in one of the world's best CS:GO academies. Although the current MOUZ NXT lineup may not repeat the success of its predecessors, Jimpphat, with an average rating of 6.9, stands out among the team and can be called the most promising player from Finland.
He is a real human-highlight. His mechanics, seasoned with his incredible calmness, as if from another world. At his age, he still has a lot to learn. Still, in things that can only be developed independently, namely shooting accuracy and movement, he already knows 100%. Under the guidance of a mentor, he can turn into an absolute monster, a world-class cyber sportsman.
Lulian regali Harjau, 20 years old
The Romanian sniper caught the public's attention while playing for Fnatic Rising. He was a mainstay for a month when he was kicked by smooya. Ultimately, he ended up in Copenhagen Flames and became the team's star.
Since the transition to CPH Flames, the club has won several online tournaments, including CCT CE Series 3, where they managed to win against Astralis with dev1ce in the grand final. Lulian went almost toe-to-toe throughout the match, which is commendable. If he continues at the same pace, he will be able to attract the attention of top organizations if he has not done so yet.
Andrii npl Kuharski, 17 years old
Andrii got a chance to make amends and make fans forget his unremarkable performance on three maps at the BLAST Premier World Finals. This time he will be a full-fledged fifth player and repeat the fate of b1t. By the way, he also didn't shine in the debut matches with NAVI.
You can trust the intuition of coach B1ad3, who has long ago proven his skills in scouting. The full-fledged npl debut will take place on the end of January at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2023.
Dorian xertioN Berman, 18 years old
Lucas nqz Soares, 17 years old
One of the rising Brazilian talents has every chance to become one of the best snipers in the region. He was a little unlucky with the last team (9z), where he had to communicate in a language other than his native. But now, finding himself in the circle of compatriots in 00NATION under the leadership of TACO, Lucas's game will definitely become better. Even now, in terms of performance, it is almost on the same level as the FURIA saffee sniper. Eventually, after 1-2 years, nqz may well be signed by FURIA. But first, you need more experience in tier-1, so it is necessary to participate in EPL Season 17.
Christian Buzz Andersen, 19 years old
Casle, the coach of Astralis, highly appreciated the qualities of 19-year-old Christian, comparing the importance of his signing with the purchase of dev1ce. Buzz was the best player in his previous team MASONIC. It remains only to see the coolness of the talent by watching Astralis at the upcoming BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2023.
Viktor Staehr Staehr, 18 years old
Sprout's main star has excellent open rates at the level of the best players in the world (more than NiKo and rain) while being a solid defender. There were rumors that he or sjuush could be signed by Astralis. And even though such an interesting transfer didn't become real, any team that will reshuffle after the Major in Paris should consider acquiring Viktor as a stable and mechanically strong performer. Staehr would be a great addition to OG. In an organization of this level, he will have a better chance to make our top 20 players of 2023, but even if he remains in the ranks of Sprout, he can shine even more.
Mohammed BOROS Malkhas, 18 years old
Most of all, BOROS impresses with the percentage of headshots: it is as much as 64.7% for his career (for b1t, about 67%). Under the leadership of an experienced coach or a famous captain, Mohammed could become a world-class player in the shortest possible time.
Laurentiu lauNX Tarlea, 17 years old
Not one list will be able to fully predict who will definitely succeed this year. But such stories about "upstarts" fuel the interest of fans of professional CS:GO, don't they?
