TNC Pro Team secured a hard-fought victory over ONIC Philippines with a score of 3:2 in the lower bracket semifinals of MPL Philippines Season 16 and will continue their quest for a spot in the tournament's grand final.

ONIC started the series with a confident win on the first map, but TNC quickly adapted and won the next two maps in a row. ONIC managed to level the score after a strong performance on the fourth map; however, the decisive fifth map once again went to TNC, who controlled the pace from the start and clinched the series victory—3:2.

TNC Pro Team will face Team Liquid PH for a place in the grand final of MPL Philippines Season 16 and a second slot at the M7 World Championship. ONIC Philippines concluded their season, finishing in 4th place.
