August 2025 marked a turning point for Alter Ego. The team announced a series of roster and coaching staff changes, affecting almost every role.

On August 2nd, veteran player Gustian "Rekt" left the team, one of the most experienced players on the roster. By August 4th, mid-laner Faisal "RoundeL" Hadapi transferred to EVOS, strengthening a competitor.

The following days were marked by new arrivals. On August 5th, Alter Ego signed four newcomers: jungler Muhammad "Yazukee" Affan Wahyudi, mid-laner Muhammad "Cyruz" Halim, roamer Alexander "Owennn" Owen, and assistant coach Styx.

On August 8th, the club announced temporary departures: roamer Rahmad "DreamS" Wahyudi and head coach Azam "Nafari" Nafari were loaned to TODAK. By August 15th, another player left the organization—jungler Kyzenn, who will continue his career in the academy team Alter Ego X.

Thus, the revamped roster combines both experienced participants and young talents. The core of the team still consists of EXP laner Syauqi "Nino" Fauzan Sumarno and gold laner Arifudin "Arfy" Dingaray, joined by new stars.

In their first match of MPL Indonesia Season 16, Alter Ego will face RRQ Hoshi. The series will take place on August 23rd in a Bo3 format as part of the first game day of the regular season.
