The Mid-Season Invitational 2026 is an upcoming international League of Legends championship organized by Riot Games. MSI 2026 will be the eleventh edition of the tournament and the second global event of the LoL Esports season. The championship will take place in Daejeon, South Korea, from June 28 to July 12, 2026, featuring 11 teams from the world's top competitive regions competing for the MSI title and qualification advantages for Worlds 2026.
VENUE & ATTENDANCE
The tournament will be held entirely in Daejeon, South Korea: Daejeon Convention Center II – June 28 to July 12, 2026.
The venue will host both the Play-In Stage and the Bracket Stage, including the Grand Final. DCC2 is the largest building of the Daejeon Convention Center complex and previously hosted the 2023 LCK Summer Finals.

FORMAT & STRUCTURE
The tournament features two stages: a Play-In Stage followed by a Double-Elimination Bracket Stage.
Play-In Stage (June 28 – July 1) - Four teams compete in a double-elimination bracket. Only one team advances to the Bracket Stage. All matches are played as best-of-five series using Fearless Draft.
Bracket Stage (July 3 – July 12) - Eight teams compete in a double-elimination bracket. Seven teams receive direct qualification to the Bracket Stage, while one team advances from Play-Ins. All matches are played as best-of-five series using Fearless Draft.
