League of Legends esports is finally back and all but one major region is off to the races as the road to the first international event begins. So far there have been quite a few champions being played thanks to the new fearless draft rule that has been implemented for the first split of the year. This means once a champion has been played, they are banned for the rest of the series.
But which champion is currently dominating Summoners Rift across the globe? Let's take a look
K'Sante stands above all in LoL esports
Was there ever a doubt that K'Sante would still be the dominant force in LoL esports going into the 2025 season? This is a top laner that Riot has struggled to keep down with teams still picking this tank. And for good reason, he is a great laner, can decimate the enemy backline in the late-game, and most importantly is very good at surviving in the lane swaps, which is still a feature in competitive play today despite Riot's best efforts to water it down.
According to gol.gg, K'Sante currently has a 72% win rate across all of the major regions. The LTA North and South conferences are yet to play but you can expect him to feature heavily in both conferences in Split 1. K'Sante is the only laner to feature in the top three for most games played in League of Legends esports in 2025 with only Rell and Leona getting more games under their belts.
In 32 games, K'Sante has won 23 of them, which is an incredible stat and a good reason why pro players have been willing to leave him open in the draft, almost as a guaranteed way of winning the opening game in the series, as he definitely has not made it through many second games. The Pride of Nazumah has consistently been a pick for the blue side, with 18 of his wins coming from the team that got to pick on the blue side, often getting picked up very early into the draft.
But which major region has played the most K'Sante so far in the 2025 League of Legends season? Let's take a look.
League | Number of games |
LPL | 11 |
LCK | 9 |
LEC | 8 |

Fans should expect to see K'Sante in action this weekend as North America and Brazil kick off their professional leagues with the launch of the LTA North and South conferences.
