On November 19, the lineup for the KeSPA Cup 2025 was announced. The tournament will feature not only LCK teams but also the national teams of Japan and Vietnam, as well as North American representatives — Cloud9 and Team Liquid. Matches will be streamed on the Disney+ platform.
The organizers of the KeSPA Cup have announced the full list of participants for the 2025 tournament. As is tradition, teams from South Korea will compete: Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports, KT Rolster, T1, Dplus KIA, DRX, Nongshim RedForce, BNK FEARX, and OKSavingsBank BRION.
This year, they will be joined by four international teams. For the first time in the tournament's history, the national teams of Japan and Vietnam will participate, along with two teams from North America — Cloud9 and Team Liquid. KeSPA noted that the expansion of the participant lineup is related to preparations for the 2026 Asian Games, where League of Legends will once again be an official discipline.
The KeSPA Cup 2025 broadcasts will take place on the Disney+ platform, which will serve as a tournament partner. The organizers emphasized that the collaboration with Disney+ will attract a new audience and introduce the Korean esports scene to a broader group of viewers.
The KeSPA Cup 2025 will take place from December 6 to December 14. The prize pool will be $68,285. This traditional off-season tournament in South Korea features debuting updated LCK rosters and young players. Over the years, international teams have also participated in the competition, but there has never been a format inviting multiple national teams and two leading LCS teams. The tournament's expansion coincides with regional preparations for the 2026 Asian Games. You can follow the schedule and results of the tournament via this link.
