Top Esports are about to embark on another international journey, this time at the first international event of the year, First Stand. For Creme, this is an opportunity to get his hands on his first international title after making his international debut last year. Creme joins an elite club of LPL mid laners that have won the title in the past few years, with the region being dominated by the same players. bo3.gg had the opportunity to sit down with Creme at the First Stand asset day for an exclusive interview.

Thank you for taking the time to talk to me today, welcome to First Stand! How does it feel to be here?

I am actually really happy to be here

You are one of very few mid laners to win the LPL in recent years with Knight, Yagao etc dominating, how does it feel to be part of that elite group of players?

I actually feel like I played pretty well during the LPL playoffs so that is what I feel at the moment.

How did your first year at international events shape you into the player you are today?

Last year year helped build into this year's performance on the international stage and with my mentality I am more relaxed this year because I was able to get that experience last year.

Do you feel any pressure being the only LPL team at first stand due to the format?

I don't have that much pressure on myself I just know that I have to play how I am capaple of and show everyone what I am capable of.

What is your assessment of the other teams in the competition?

I think that they're able to be in this tournament means that they're all really good teams. So for me, myself, I just have to focus on my own skills and prepare well when facing against them.

What are your thoughts on fearless draft for this international event?

I think that fearless draft is actually a really interesting way of playing the game because as audiences they are able to see many different types of champion selections and different ways of playing the game.

Would you want fearless draft to be at MSI and Worlds this year?

I think I personally can't really say whether I want it or not but it really depends on how it plays out for the entire year. It's a really interesting way of playing the game and it's very fun to watch. We just have to see how competitive it is to check it out later on in the year.
