Cloud9 has completed its roster for the debut in LTA North in 2025, reports Sheep Esports. After a disappointing 2024, when the team, despite having a strong lineup, failed to qualify for international tournaments, Cloud9 hopes to prove its strength and once again become the leader of the North American League of Legends.
With the departure of two star players, Kim "Berserker" Min-cheol and Joseph Joon "Jojopyun" Pyun, Cloud9 had to look for replacements in key positions during the offseason. New names will strengthen the team. Young midlaner Lee "Loki" Sang-min, who previously played for HLE Challengers, will replace Jojopyun, and Jesper "Zven" Svenningsen, who played last season for Dignitas, will return to the ADC position.
Cloud9's New Roster for 2025
The fully updated Cloud9 roster is as follows:
With the updated roster and the addition of experienced and promising players, Cloud9 aims not only to secure high positions in the new tournament but also to reclaim its status as a leader in the LCS. Whether Cloud9 can achieve international success remains an open question, but their return promises to be intriguing for both fans and critics.
Why It Matters
After several failures in the past season, Cloud9 needs to prove that the organization can meet high expectations and restore its reputation as one of the strongest contenders on the North American League of Legends scene.
