Patch 14.19 brings significant changes that are designed to improve gameplay in League of Legends. The updates affect items, champions, runes and various mechanics, making the game more balanced and accessible to newcomers. This patch also adds new characters and modes, bringing a fresh take on familiar gameplay.
Item Changes
As part of the patch, changes have been made to speed up the pace of the game. Assassin items have been changed.The main vector for weakening assassin items is skill acceleration. Such items will now provide 0 or 10 acceleration. Important items such as Shakram Axiom and Serilda's Grudge have been affected by the changes.
For warriors, many items have been redesigned to balance the “strength budget” between stamina and damage. This is exemplified by the changes to the Eclipse and Black Axe, which aim to strengthen duelists and protect juggernauts.
Shooters should retain their hustling nature, but not to the extent that they can consistently outrun warriors.Additionally, some critical damage tools will be tightened up so that they can be collected first. Important items such as Ghost Dancer and Navori's Flying Knife will be changed as well
Changes to runes
There have also been significant adjustments to runes. The Death Pace rune returns with an updated effect that combines with attack speed from other sources. Other runes have been updated to improve balance and reduce effectiveness for some champions.
Champion Changes
The biggest changes are to the champions K'Sante and Tristan. They were changed to return the champions to the meta and that they were not too strong in the hands of professionals. As well as changes received such heroes as Vladimir and Eliza.
Improvements for beginners
- Queue items:Now you can queue legendary items in the store, which simplifies the process of shopping.
- Forest Combat Notifications:When entering a fight with enemies in the forest, the team receives a beep and a mark on the mini-map.
- Epic Item Notifications:When Baron and Dragons appear, a notification with a sound effect is now displayed.

ARAM Balance
This update also makes adjustments to ARAM to balance mages with explosive damage:

- Aurora: skill acceleration: 10 ⇒ 0
- Diana: damage dealt: 105% ⇒ 102%; damage received: 95% ⇒ 98%
- Fizz: stamina: 120% ⇒ 110%
- Karma: damage dealt: 100% ⇒ 97%
- Le Blanc: Stamina: 110% ⇒ 100%
- Pantheon: damage: 105% ⇒ 100%
- Syndra: skill acceleration: 15 ⇒ 5
- Vladimir: damage dealt: 100% ⇒ 105%
Bug fixes and useful changes
- Many bug fixes, including problems with sound effects and animations.
- The frame for Viego World Championship 2024 will appear in Cycle 14.22.
- Victory Sona will get redesigned sound effects in the future.
New split
As of September 25, 2024, League of Legends will begin the third split of the 2024 season. This split promises new opportunities for players, allowing them to showcase their skills and drive to achieve at a high level. Players will be able to improve their rankings and participate in exciting matches, fighting for the best positions in the table. The new split will also bring with it changes to the game balance and updates to the mechanics, providing additional strategic play and variety in champion selection.
Old Mode Returns
This patch will also bring back the game mode that replaces Arena. The Book of Absolute Skills mode will be reinstated, where 5 on 5 teams face off in the familiar summoner's gorge and gain the Absolute skill of any hero in the game instead of 1 of the summoner's spells, but the choice will not be between all heroes, but only between 3 random ones.
Worlds 2024 Battle Pass
In honor of the Worlds 2024 tournament, a Battle Pass will be added to the game, which will give players the opportunity to get a lot of rewards and in-game currencies.
