It's another day that League of Legends fans are absolutely furious with Riot Games, this time, it's over a new skin that just got announced.
Riot has not been safe from the player bases criticism for a while now. And today marks the latest chapter in the fan's unhappiness with the developer. In the past 24 hours, Riot Games has released the trailer for the new exalted skin, Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser. And while fans have known about an exalted Mordekaiser skin being in the works, they probably didn't expect it to be one of the most requested lore skins for Mordekaiser.

League of Legends players took to Reddit to express their distaste for Riot putting another fan-requested skin under a massive paywall. One commenter said, " 200 dollar price tag on a lore skin that could have just been an ultimate is wild." While another added "I hate Riot so much for making the most requested Morde skin ever a gacha skin." For Mordekaiser fans, this is a big slap in the face, as a large majority of the players will not even dare to try to roll for this skin as it's simply too expensive and the odds of getting this skin before hitting the $200 mark is slim-to-none.
The promotion for the latest Riot products have not gone down well, with almost every other comment in the comment section for this, and every recent Riot post, being about the removed Hextech chests. "I'm absolutely loving how every youtube comment is talking about chests instead of the skin," said one player. And it's true, Riot is not getting the reaction they probably wanted, and while it's not the fault of the skin designers, players are letting Riot know they are not happy with the direction the company is taking them in.
