On February 2, as part of the LEC Winter 2025 tournament, another round of the group stage took place. As a result, two teams were determined to have lost their chance to progress to the playoffs — they are Rogue and SK Gaming.
SK Gaming vs Rogue
The match only mattered for Rogue since SK Gaming had already lost their chances of advancing. The match ended in a somewhat comical way because SK won, thus taking away all hopes from Rogue to even fight for the playoffs. Overall, the game was a crushing victory for SK Gaming, ending with a score of 13-3.
Fnatic vs Karmine Corp
The match was the highlight of the day. Fnatic simply destroyed Karmine Corp, finishing the meeting with a score of 26-5. Notably, the ADC of Fnatic, Upset, completely outplayed the enemy bot lane with his Kai’Sa, ending the game with a score of 8/1/10. Thus, Fnatic prematurely secured first place.
Team Vitality vs Team Heretics
The teams occupied the same position in the group, so this match directly affected their playoff seeding. Overall, the game was dry on clashes and ended with a victory for Team Vitality with a score of 13-3. The entire Heretics team had an unsuccessful match.
