GrabbZ returns to Fnatic as head coach

Fabian "GrabbZ" Lohmann, known to European fans for his achievements with G2 Esport, is ready to re-enter the LEC world.

According to sources, GrabbZ has reached a verbal agreement with Fnatic and will become the head coach of the team for the new season. This move followed the departure of Tomáš "Nightshare" Kněžínek from the organization on October 28, after which Fnatic began searching for a new coach and chose GrabbZ for this role.

A Long-Awaited Return to Fnatic

GrabbZ has rich experience in the LEC: he was the coach of G2, where he reached the Worlds final with the team and won the international MSI title in 2019. Despite an unsuccessful period with team BDS in 2022, where his project ended in low places, GrabbZ now returns to Fnatic, aiming to revive their former glory.

A New Chapter for Fnatic

For Fnatic, a time of change has come. The organization hasn't won titles since 2018, and LEC finals have repeatedly ended in defeats, most often to G2 Esports. In 2024, Fnatic once again fell to their rivals in three finals. Fnatic's management aims to change this situation, and bringing GrabbZ as the head coach could be an important step in their new path.

Expected Fnatic Lineup for 2025:

The question is whether the new coach and the refreshed bot lane will help the team overcome long-standing challenges and bring back titles on the international stage.
