In the quarterfinals of the Esports World Cup 2025, Gen.G easily defeated FlyQuest with a score of 2:0, confidently advancing to the semifinals.
The first map was completely dominated by the Korean team. Gen.G drafted comfortably, quickly took control of the map, and didn't allow FlyQuest any opportunities for a comeback. On the second map, FlyQuest tried to put up a fight. The team showed better laning and even managed to temporarily hold back the opponent's pressure. However, Gen.G soon regained initiative, executed several crucial team fights, and confidently closed the series in their favor.

The best player of the match was Kiin — the top laner of Gen.G demonstrated excellent stability, precise positioning, and decisive actions at key moments.
After the victory, Gen.G advances to the semifinals, where they will face G2 for a spot in the grand final. FlyQuest ends their tournament run, stopping at the quarterfinal stage.
