Organizers of the LEC Summer 2025 have announced the list of teams that received direct invites to the tournament. The announcement was made through the official LoL Esports channels.
The summer split matches will take place at the Riot Games studio in Berlin, as in previous splits. All games will be played in a LAN format without spectators, but with live broadcasts on Twitch and YouTube.
The tournament features ten teams, divided into two groups of five. Each team will play one series in a Bo3 format within their group. The top two teams from each group will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, the third and fourth places will go to the lower bracket, and the fifth will be eliminated from the tournament. The playoffs will be held in a double elimination format, with the final played in a Bo5 format.

Thus, Group A features three playoff contenders — Karmine Corp, Vitality, and MKOI. In such competition, newcomers like NAVI will find it extremely challenging to break into the top 4.
