Today, August 30, in the Play-In stage of the LPL Split 3 2025, an elimination match took place between Ninjas in Pyjamas and FunPlus Phoenix. NiP secured a victory in a tense series with a score of 3:2, earning a spot in the playoffs. Meanwhile, FPX concluded their participation in the tournament.

The series began with a confident win for FunPlus Phoenix on the first map. The second map went to NiP in a closely contested battle, as the team seized the initiative in the decisive moments. FPX took the lead again, dominating the third map. However, NiP finished the fourth map in just 25 minutes, and on the decisive fifth map, despite an even game until the mid-game, they proved stronger in the key moments.

The MVP of the series was Leave — the NiP marksman made a crucial contribution to the team's victory, especially on the fourth and fifth maps.
