The Northern conference includes teams from the LCS league, which brings together leading teams from North America:

- Dignitas (LCS)
- FlyQuest (LCS)
- 100 Thieves (LCS, guest)
- Team Liquid (LCS)
- Lyon Gaming (LCS)
- Shopify Rebellion (LCS)
- Disguised (NACL)
This division of conferences in the new LTA brings together the best teams from both Americas, creating unique conditions for competition and strengthening the rivalry in the region.
Unique Split Formats in LTA 2025
The first split kicks off with a double-elimination format with bo3 matches and a Fearless draft system. Teams within each conference will compete to determine the strongest. The top 4 teams from the Northern conference will travel to Brazil to face off against the top 4 from the Southern conference in a single-elimination tournament. All matches will be in bo3 format, except for the final, which will be bo5. The winner will represent the region in a new international tournament.
The second split will feature a double round-robin in bo1 format. The top six teams from each conference will advance to the playoffs, where a double-elimination bracket will take place, and the champion will qualify for MSI from LTA.

The third split will introduce an entirely new format — the Pick & Play System. Each team will have the opportunity to choose their next opponent after each game week, excluding those they have already played. After three weeks, the elimination stage will begin, where the bottom four teams will be in the elimination zone. By the end of six weeks, only three teams from each conference will remain. In this split, the Southern conference will head North to participate in the final playoff stage, where both the LTA champion and the teams that will represent the region at Worlds 2025 will be determined.
