Berserker departs from Cloud9 after spending two years with the organization. In that time Berserker won multiple LCS championships, won an MVP award and attending multiple international events including Worlds 2022, 2023, and MSI 2023. Berserker came in to the LCS with high expectations having been touted as a potential Gumayusi replacement waiting in the wings if things went south on the main roster.
That wasn't the case, meaning Berserker had to find a home in North America, where as mentioned above, he excelled to new heights and put himself immediately in the shop window if he was to ever desire playing in South Korea. The challenge will now be can he take his game to new levels against some of the best ADCs the world has to offer.
Disappointing end in North America
Unfortuantely Berserkers final season on Cloud9 did not even with happy memories. Despite on paper having one of the strongest rosters the league has ever seen, Cloud9 failed to make a single international event in 2024. Finishing third in the spring split followed up by an embarrasing defeat to 100 Thieves in the summer playoffs, crashing out in fourth and seeing their Worlds dreams go up in smoke.
