
The first week of play in the LEC 2025 Summer concluded with thrilling series as Fnatic and GIANTX confidently secured victories in the regular season. One match was marked by complete domination, while the other was more evenly contested, but both ended with the same score of 2-0 in favor of the favorites.
Fnatic vs. SK Gaming
Fnatic decisively defeated SK Gaming with a score of 2-0, leaving no chance for their opponents on both maps. From the very first minutes of the series, the team dominated the lanes, showcasing coordinated actions and flawless macro play.

The bot laner Upset particularly stood out, surprising viewers with an unconventional build on Yunara in the first game. His confident play and significant contribution to team fights earned him the MVP title of the series.
GIANTX vs. Team Vitality
In the second match of the day, GIANTX defeated Team Vitality also with a score of 2-0. Although the series was much more balanced than the previous one, GX maintained an advantage at every stage of the game, confidently controlling the pace and objectives on the map. Despite Vitality's resistance, GIANTX did not allow their opponents to turn the tide of the match.

A key figure in the victory was the jungler of GX — ISMA, who was named the best player of the series thanks to his consistent play and decisive initiations at crucial moments.

The second week of play will begin on August 9, with the top teams from spring joining the competition. The first day of play will kick off with the following matches:

- Movistar KOI vs. GIANTX — 7:00 PM CEST
