Esports World Cup 2025 has officially added League of Legends to the list of tournament disciplines. The organizers announced this on social media, confirming a partnership with Riot Games, under which the championship will also include competitions for Valorant and Teamfight Tactics.

At present, there is no information about the tournament format, prize pool, or list of invited teams. It is also unknown how teams will be selected for the championship. However, one thing is for sure — Esports World Cup will continue to collaborate with Riot Games at least until 2027, as the agreement is set for three years.

Esports World Cup 2025 is the largest international esports tournament, set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The organizers are the Esports World Cup Foundation in collaboration with ESL FACEIT Group. The tournament will feature competitions in 25 different disciplines, including Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, CS2, Rainbow Six Siege, and APEX Legends.
