The contract with Shopify Rebellion creates new opportunities for Contractz, who previously helped NRG Esports surprise everyone by winning the LCS championship and qualifying for Worlds 2023. Despite skepticism about the team's international prospects, NRG defeated one of the strongest opponents, G2 Esports, reaching the stage of greatest hope for the West. However, in 2024, NRG faced challenges and failed to replicate their success, finishing only 6th in the league.
Contractz has had a rich career marked by both highs and lows. He became the Rookie of the Split in Spring 2017 but was subsequently demoted to the academy league. Nonetheless, he managed to return to the top, confirming his status as a player capable of competing with the best. Now he begins a new chapter with Shopify Rebellion, and his return to the league could inspire the team to new victories.
In the revamped lineup of Shopify Rebellion for 2025, some players are already announced, including top laner Ibrahim "Fudge" Allami and new jungler Contractz. The remaining positions are still open, and the team aims to attract strong players for a successful performance in the season.
Signing Contractz is a significant step for both him and Shopify Rebellion. His experience and skills may be a decisive factor in achieving new heights for the team in the upcoming LCS season. Fans and experts eagerly anticipate how Shopify Rebellion's game will evolve with the new lineup and strategies.
