Bwipo slams LTA pros for not wanting to stream scrims

The LTA North Split 1 is finally here, with the best teams from North America going head to head as they fight to be the best team in the region and compete at the first international event of the year, First Stand. But already, there is some drama after only one series, with one FlyQuest player not holding back his words against his peers. Let's take a look at what went down following the series between FlyQuest and Shopify Rebellion.

Following his post game interview, Bwipo said that multiple LTA teams have refused to stream scrims with them, citing they are potentially hiding certain picks, or potentially just don't want to be exposed. This came after the topic of streaming scrims rose in the past week, something that Los Ratones is doing not only for content but also for increasing visibility in professional League of Legends for its fans.

Later that evening, FlyQuest's PapaSmithy responded to a clip of Palafox disagreeing with the comments Bwipo made. "Plenty of players / coaches / org staff have expressed interest, but push comes to shove none have been able to get all their parties involved and commit. Hoping that changes," PapaSmithy said.

FlyQuest starts off strong in the LTA opener

FlyQuest picked up right where they left off, dominating North America. The games against Shopify were not close, so much so to the point that it angered Bwipo, and the FLY top laner let his feelings know in the post-match interview. FlyQuest was allowed to get picks such as Urgot, Ivern, and Cassiopeia, three champions that were synonymous with the organization throughout their entire Worlds 2024 run.

FlyQuest must now take on Cloud9 for a spot in the Split 1 playoffs in Brazil. This is the most highly anticipated match of the second round after the two had instant classics across the entirety of the 2024 LCS season. You can see FlyQuest and Cloud9 go head-to-head February 2nd when the LTA Split 1 returns.
