South Korean Mid Laner Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong has renewed his contract with LCK side KT Rolster until 2026. The player was one of the hottest free agents on the market after his contract had expired at the end of the 2024 season. BDD remains committed to the KT Rolster League of Legends program despite the squad failing to qualify for the 2024 League of Legends World Championship. The team was edged out by the defending champions T1 in a thrilling qualification series.
According to Esports Journalist Ashley Kang, the South Korean Mid has renewed with the organization in a contract that will run until the end of the 2026 season. BDD was one of the more sought-after players due to his status as a free agent. Many believed KT would promote the exciting prospect Yoo "Zinie" Baek-jin with the player considered the next big Korean star in League of Legends. With BDD confirmed to be starting for KT next year, perhaps this paves the way for Zinie to join another LCK squad. Or more interestingly, a Western team?
