According to Sheep Esports, South Korean ADC Jeong "BAO" Hyun-woo, known for his performances with Gentle Mates in the LFL, has reached a verbal agreement with the Turkish team Papara SuperMassive. Despite not the most successful results in 2024, the former EMEA Masters champion and TCL finalist will return to the Turkish scene, where he will play the new season with the current TCL champions.
Return of the Star
Interest in BAO's transfer stems from his status as one of the most promising players of the past year. After a year in the LFL with Gentle Mates, BAO could not continue with the team as they decided to sign Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos. Papara SuperMassive, in turn, aims to improve their results on the international stage and hopes that BAO's return will help achieve this goal.
Transfer Details
According to sources, BAO intended to stay with Gentle Mates but was forced to look for a new team after the organization decided to move in a different direction. SuperMassive, retaining most of their roster, replaced their former ADC William "UNF0RGIVEN" Nieminen with BAO. The team hopes for success not only in the TCL but also on the international stage, where they failed to progress beyond the quarter-finals at EMEA Masters in 2024.
Plans for 2025
Papara SuperMassive is counting on BAO to help them not only maintain dominance in the TCL but also improve results in international tournaments. The full SUP roster for the 2025 season is as follows:
