On March 17, the Chinese esports organization EDward Gaming announced the departure of Zou "Assum" Wei from their League of Legends roster. The announcement was made on the club's official Weibo page.
Assum joined EDG on December 12, 2024, and during his time with the team, he participated in two tournaments. At the Demacia Cup 2024, the team placed 5th-8th, and in the LPL Split 1 2025, they finished in the 9th-12th position. As of the time of publication, the organization has not announced who will replace Assum in the main lineup.
