Most Banned Champions on LoL Patch 25.7

Patch 25.7 for League of Legends is gearing up to be an exciting one. There have been plenty of new additions to the LoL roster in terms of who is strong; one of these champions is considered to be one of the most overpowered champions we have seen in a very long time. When champions do become strong, more often than not, players will not have that champion in their game, resulting in them being banned away. Let's take a look at the five most banned LoL champions in Patch 25.7 according to LeagueOfGraphs.

Naafiri

Since her changes, Naafiri has been one of the hottest commotdies in Leageu of Legends right now. She has been very overpowered, so much so that she has the highest ban rate of any LoL champion by a substantial margin. Naafiri has a ban rate of 72.9.%, an almost 40% difference between her and the next champion on the list.

Mel

Mel has fallen off from being the most overpowered champion in League of Legends with Naafiri taking that title. The Arcane star falls to second as the most banned champion in the game across her two roles for mid lane and for support. Mel is undoubtledy one of the most annoying champions to play against, and it's pretty obvious that lower elo players do not want to encounter this champion in their game.

Darius

Darius was the surprise addition to this list, and one that would not been considered to be the most banned champion in the game in Season 15. But Darius has returned to the meta, in both the top lane and the jungle. The jungle version of Darius has been an unstoppable force, leaving Riot to tone him down significantly. A combination of his runes and items gave him a godly amount of movement speed, something that players could not deal with. Darius comes in third with 33.2% ban rate.

Lulu

With lane swaps all but dead, and hyper carries back in the meta completely, there is no surprise that Lulu has risen up thte ranks to be one of the better supports in League of Legends. Lulu is a great pairing for the likes of Jinx, Kai'Sa, Ezreal, and more. Lulu comes in at a ban rate of 27.3%. She's also featuring in the top ten most popular champions with a rate of 14.5%.

Gwen

In Patch 25.7, Gwen has started to gain popularity, with her percentage being 10.9% according to LeagueOfGraphs, which is one of the best states she has been in since 2021. Similarly, her ban rate is also the highest it has been in quite some time at 25.3%.
