Worlds 2024 is officially in the history books with T1 going back-to-back, defending their crown and crushing the hopes of the LPL. There were so many incredible players at Worlds 2024, proving why it is the premium event in esports. Fans travel from across the globe to watch the best players in action. Let's take a look at top ten KDA's at Worlds 2024, one player on this list may surprise you.
While KDA is not the premium metric to judge players on, it's still a good indicator for how a player personally performed at the 2024 League of Legends World Championship.
Scout - 9.3 KDA
After nearly not attending the World Championship due to a legal dispute, Scout had a solid tournament all things considered. The mid-laner ended the tournament with the highest KDA at 9.3. Scout helped LNG destroy the competition in the Swiss stage, being one of two teams to go 3-0. This included a win over the Worlds finalists in BLG.
Peyz - 8.5 KDA
It was sadly not the ending Peyz or Gen.G would have hoped for with the pre-tournament favorites losing to their rivals T1 in the semi-finals. Overall, though, Peyz had a good tournament and has set himself up well for whatever his 2025 plans are. Peyz ended the tournament with an 8.5 KDA, the highest of anyone in his role.
Chovy - 7.3 KDA
Chovy's quest to become a World Champion continues after Gen.G was dismantled in the semifinals by the eventual winners T1. Nevertheless, Chovy showcased why he is still one of the best players in the world with a 7.3 KDA, only second to scout in his role. Despite playing a series less, Chovy had just one less kill than Faker, ranking him third overall for mid-laner kills at the tournament.
GALA - 7.2 KDA
GALA was part of the LNG squad that trounced the Worlds 2024 Swiss stage. Granted it wasn't against the strongest opponents outside of BLG, but nevertheless, the ADC still performed very well and is worthy of being near the top of the KDA charts with a 7.2. GALA was one of five ADCs at Worlds 2024 to reach above 700 damage per minute.
Gumayusi - 7.1 KDA
A world champion has entered the chat. Gumayusi had a phenomenal tournament as he helped this T1 roster cement their names in the history books as arguably the best League of Legends roster of all time with back-to-back world titles. Only ELK and Light had more kills than Gumayusi at Worlds in the ADC position though it was extremely close between second and third with a two kill difference.
Noah - 5.9 KDA
Noah appearing on this list is one of the surprises considering Fnatic did not make it out of the Swiss stage. When it came to who was one of the better players on Fnatic this tournament, Noah was definitely up there with just over 39% of the team's kills across the six games in the Swiss stage. Only Viper and Aiming performed better in that category. Sadly even when Noah had the tools to carry the game for Fnatic, the ADC was not able to live up to their potential as Fnatic bounced out of the tournament.
Oner - 5.9 KDA
Across the board Oner was arguably the best jungler at the tournament, topping the role with the highest KDA at 5.9, along with the most kills, and ahead of the curve in the XP department compared to his fellow junglers. Oner has only known success since coming into T1, winning multiple championships including the two crown jewels in his trophy cabinet, the 2023 and 2024 League of Legends World Championships.
Knight - 5.7 KDA
Like Chovy, Knight's quest to win a world championship continues after a heartbreaking game-five defeat to Faker and T1. Although some players on BLG did not live up to their potential, Knight played a solid series and proved that he could handle the pressure in the biggest series of his career. Sadly it was not enough to overcome the T1 worlds plot armor.
Keria - 5.3 KDA
Keria continues to show why he is the best support in the world, and has a fair case for calling himself the best player in the world. He is the only support to feature on this list with a 5.3 KDA. Not only that, Keria has featured in the top 10 for KDA each time in the past four years. Keria added another world title to his already stacked resume, it'll be interesting to see if he can help his squad go for a three-peat next year.
Quad - 5.2 KDA
Quad did the LCS proud at Worlds 2024 with a quarterfinal appearance and almost toppling the tournament favorites in Gen.G. As for his overall performance, it was a solid showing considering it was his first Worlds appearance. Quad was amongst the best in his role for KDA at 5.2, higher than Faker, Caps, Zeka, etc. Considering he had to go up against the likes of Chovy, Showmaker, and Zeka, to come out in the top ten for KDA is a fantastic achievement for the LTA mid.
