In just one day, the new single-player role-playing game Black Myth: Wukong from Game Science studio surpassed Counter-Strike 2 in simultaneous player count on Steam.
According to SteamDB, the current online player count for the game has surpassed 2 million users (peak at 2,014,786), making Black Myth: Wukong the most popular single-player project, breaking the record held by Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt RED (1,054,388 players in 2020), and becoming the new leader.
Currently, the game is second only to projects like Palworld and PUBG, which are multiplayer games.
