French jungler Ismail "ISMA" Boualem is changing clubs for the second time this offseason. Initially, he was supposed to play for Karmine Corp Blue in the LFL, but he will now compete in the LEC, having moved to GIANTX.
The Spanish organization had to quickly find a new jungler after Can "Closer" Çelik decided to take a break for personal reasons. Closer informed GIANTX of his decision a few days ago, and the team seized the opportunity by signing ISMA.
ISMA was already registered with Karmine Corp Blue for the EMEA Masters, so negotiations between KC and GX focused on his participation in the tournament. Ultimately, the parties reached an agreement: ISMA will play for KCB at the EMEA Masters but will simultaneously start training with his new team in the LEC. Now, KCB needs to find a replacement for their substitute player before the start of the LFL Spring Split.
Now, the French player must adapt to his new team and prove himself at the LEC level. Given the urgent nature of the signing, ISMA will need to quickly integrate into GIANTX's team processes and demonstrate his value in the LEC.
