There are rumors that the next Major will expand from 24 to 32 teams. What do you guys think? Personally, I think it’s total BS

It’s a disaster because we’ll get a ton of matches at the biggest event of the year filled with tier 2 or 3 teams, and that’s just not exciting to watch. We want top-tier competition, not filler games that drag on

32 teams? That sounds like a joke. How are we supposed to get quality games if we’re letting in tier 2 or even tier 3 teams? It's going to be a mess, too many weak teams just dragging things down.

Yeah I get it, but there's plenty of tournaments for teams to show up, but Major is where you expect the top dogs to play, not just anyone. Gotta keep that elite vibe, you know?

Get ready to see some tier 4 meme teams like ‘Neighborhood Boys’ on the Major stage. Might as well hand out participation trophies

I’m still learning the ropes in CS, but is having more teams really that bad?

Hard to say if it’s good or bad, some think only the best should be at Majors, others wanna see underdogs there and what they can pull off on the big stage.

Honestly, I’m all for it! This could be a fresh chance for underdog teams to shine. Everyone keeps saying it’s always the same teams at Majors, so this would shake things up and bring some excitement

Agree, i'd be happy to see how some underdog beats top team, that would be a show!

Expanding makes sense from a business perspective. CS2 just launched, and Valve will definitely want to pull in more viewers. More teams equals more regions being represented, which means more fans tuning inFIRSTLY THEY NEED TO MAKE CS2 FEELINGS LIKE CS;GO

Let’s keep it civil, guys. Remember, this is still just a rumor for now. It’s fun to speculate though, and if it happens, it could seriously change how Majors are structured

On the flip side, this could actually be a great move for the global CS scene. For years, people have been complaining that regions like Asia and South America don’t get enough representation at Majors

Good point! There are hella good teams in Asia and SA

32 teams are just gonna slow down the entire tournament. So many matches will be straight-up boring

you can still watch games of teams you like, so does this matter?
