BIG just announced their new Academy roster — do you think this revamped project can actually develop tier 1 talent, or is it just a PR move to stay relevant?

I think it’s legit. BIG has a solid history with academy players — just look at Krimbo and hyped. Bringing back xenn and adding FreeZe shows they’re serious about structure and coaching. Every top team needs a strong talent pipeline, and this looks like a step in the right direction.

Feels like smoke and mirrors to me. They bring back prosus who was already benched, and the rest of the roster is basically unknowns. If this was serious, they’d scout stronger talent. Looks more like something to please sponsors than a real push for future tier 1 talent.

BIG is reasserting its long-term developmental model. Even if most players don't make it, creating an environment where young talent can grow without fear of instant failure is rare and healthy.

Exciting to see BIG Academy return with a renewed cross-cultural roster. Leveraging hybrid leadership from FreeZe and proven assets like prosus signals strong organizational intent. Great talent incubation move
