Valve announced that the Crownfall event, which was supposed to end in mid-January, will be extended until February 6, 2025. This decision was made in response to numerous requests from players who didn't have time to explore the four massive maps with characters, mini-games, and comics.
"Well, if what we're hearing from friends, family, dedicated fans, coworkers, bus drivers, security guards, and even some cats on the internet is true, it turns out a lot of people could actually use more time to finish everything." the developers commented.
Players should hurry to complete all tasks as the developers emphasize that this is the final extension of the event.
Final credits of the event
In the Dota 2 client, you can view the final credits of the Crownfall event. The developers showcased some heroes in pixel art, as well as locations that were featured in the events. After viewing, players are awarded unique decorations in the form of pixelated Vengeful Spirit and Skywrath Mage.
You can view the credits on the main event page by clicking the "Play Credits" button.
What's next?
The Crownfall event provided players with a wealth of unique content: adventures in locations Midgate, Druud, Icewrack, and Skywrath, as well as hero transformations using arcanas for Vengeful Spirit and Skywrath Mage. Valve hopes that this event will be remembered by fans for a long time and become an important part of Dota 2's history.
